 My name is Dr. Sue Vazzana, veterinarian and founder of Celezzana Pet.

For more than two decades, I've dedicated my life to caring for animals. Throughout my career, I've always believed that our pets deserve the same thoughtful, compassionate care that we give the people we love. That belief eventually became the foundation for Celezzana Pet.

Ironically, it wasn't my work as a veterinarian that first inspired me to begin formulating skincare—it was my own health journey.

My Journey to Thoughtful Skincare

In my early fifties, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and underwent surgery followed by radioactive iodine treatment. In the years that followed, I developed multiple autoimmune diseases, including fibromyalgia, which left me extremely sensitive to medications, fragrances, and many of the ingredients found in everyday products.

As I searched for ways to improve my health, I transformed nearly every aspect of my lifestyle. I adopted a plant-based diet, began growing my own food, embraced mindfulness practices, reduced environmental toxins, and became increasingly aware of the ingredients in the products I used every day.

When I looked closely at my skincare products, I realized many contained ingredients I no longer wanted on my own skin. That discovery sparked a passion for cosmetic formulation.

What began with simple handcrafted body scrubs quickly grew into a deep commitment to learning the science behind skincare. I spent years studying cosmetic formulation, ingredient chemistry, skin physiology, product stability, and natural raw materials. I wanted to create products that were not only effective but also thoughtfully formulated with ingredients I could trust.

Just as I was preparing to launch my first products, Hurricane Ian devastated our home, placing my business dreams on hold while we rebuilt our lives. Although those years were difficult, they also strengthened my determination. Once our home was restored, I returned to formulation with renewed purpose and an even clearer vision.

As I continued creating products for myself, I couldn't ignore one important question:

Why aren't our pets receiving the same level of care?

As a veterinarian, I knew that dogs and cats often experience dry skin, environmental sensitivities, irritated paws, and seasonal skin challenges. Yet many grooming products reveal very little about what they actually contain.

I believed pet owners deserved better.

That's why transparency became one of the core values of Celezzana Pet. Every ingredient is carefully selected for its purpose and is fully disclosed because I believe you should know exactly what you're using on your companion. Your pet's skin deserves the same thoughtful attention we give our own.

Today, every Celezzana Pet product is created with three guiding principles:

Sustainability has always been close to my heart. Through Celezzana Pet, we strive to make environmentally conscious choices whenever possible, and a portion of our profits helps support endangered species whose futures depend on all of us.

At the heart of everything I create is one simple belief:
